This position will be response for strategic planning, internal key stakeholder alignment, and licensee management to include owning and refining the brand's strategic licensing plan and working with our partners to grow the business and introduce new customers into the brand. This position will also have responsibility for identifying and evaluating new business and product opportunities in Europe.This position will have a reporting matrix to Managing Director EMEA and to Global Licensing Manager in the USA.


Aufgaben
  • Hunt, negotiate, and lock new local relevant inbound and outboung licensing opportunities for the European markets.
  • Work with local Brand Team and USA Licensing Team to identify local trends, relevant local tradeshows, and map out our licensing growth plan
  • Research and identify key category opportunities by brand
  • Ensure productive, professional relationships with current and potential Licensors
  • Identify and evaluate new business and product opportunities through research and analysis of trends and market opportunities
  • Execute and follow up on licensing contract tasks related to assigned accounts, to include providing support with day-to-day responsibilities such as contract and amendment process, presentation development, etc.
  • Act as critical member of cross functional team with Sales, Marketing, Innovations, etc. providing licensing support and ensuring compliance requirements
  • Coordinate the involvement of Field Sales personnel ensuring awareness of new programs to meet objectives of licenses
  • Cultivate relationships with potential licensees
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the multiple departments within the Company as it relates to product performance, safety, and reliability
  • Update and enforce brand assets and guidelines to ensure consistency across licensed categories
  • Manage and conduct performance review of Licensing Associates as assigned

Profil
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • + years of relevant Licensing experience, or 8 years in sales experience or equivalent
  • Contacts within European Licensing Brands and associations a plus
  • Ability to effectively use computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Broad product knowledge
  • Knowledge of AX operating system preferred
  • Experience with matrix reporting a plus
  • Sales driven with “hunter” instinct
  • Fluent in minimum 2 languages (English and local language)
  • Teamwork Skills—coordination, communication and customer service skills
  • Product Knowledge—the individual must have knowledge of Zippo's products and services
  • Analytical—Ability to analyze statistics and other data and to interpret and evaluate results and create reports and/or presentations
